These completed compositions started life at the Nancy Crow strip-piecing and restructuring workshop which I was fortunate enough to attend in May 2022. Freehand cutting was used for all these quilts. The emphasis in composition 4 was to be bolder and to build on the fluidity and concentrate more on the lines in the composition. I think I achieved more movement in it.
Composition 3 and 4 were pieced in their entirety at the Crow Barn. Composition number 5 was made from visual texture made in the last exercise and completed once home, using up made-up scraps which I still had got.
