Tara Faughnan workshops

Tara Faughnan is another inspirational teacher whose teaching I have particular enjoyed. She is all about playing with colour by using simple shapes.

I made a couple of colourful cushions and a small wall hanging, before moving on to her zoom “Give and Take” workshop   This is a “directed” improv quilt technique which uses sashing to help define random areas of colour.  

Tara’s “Small World“ quilt class, is a paper piecing workshop, with a difference. It concentrates on colour placement using a traditional block pattern.
