CQL Challenges

Contemporary Quilt London, set a challenge for members to make a miniature piece with Capital Contrast as the theme. Below is my quilt which was based on the photograph to the left which was taken in New York.

Fragmentation

A second challenge was to produce a small piece on the theme of “Fragmentation”. I used strip piecing which I chopped up, with machine embroidery and buttons augmenting the decoration.
